Foreword
With a glanceat the world’s casual consideration of the released captives who defended theirhomeland for years with a religious and ethnic attitude as volunteers orcombatants under emergency or compulsion and were captured by enemies whilethey are in fact victims of goals of some states in the world and were finallyimprisoned or executed without being tried, forced to leave their lands,belittled, harassed or tortured, beaten, suffered solitary confinement andexperienced suspension with no assurance of future, separation from their families,inhumane living conditions andcontemptuous behaviors. Some of the captives, who escaped the plights, sufferfrom numerous problems such as separation from reality, mental derangement andfearing return to their homelands.
Researchesconducted by scientists show that released captives suffer from behaviordisorders as a big obstacle to return to Association and assume routineresponsibilities. The said symptoms are almost common in all of them. As anexample, a research conducted on 8 released captives of the World War IIrevealed that 67% of them suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
